sometimes i think i have too many basses too. and maybe i do ...

and ya, my band is wierd right now. singer's studying for the bar and honestly most of the time i forget im in a band at all. and i go home and see a whoel row of basses and think "WTF are all these for. i could get buy with 1".

but then the next day i work my ass off ... long day in the office, drive home in too much traffic and need to unwind and pick up one of the basses and realize that this is why i have em ... i work hard, lots of things in life are stressful and playing bass helps me unwind ... plus, i worked hard to buy the bastards. theyre mine, all mine .... and i want more - band or no band

Paypal the Dude and email me the details. It's so EASY.

Screw "need". Basses are what I love. If I could afford to keep three hundred of them, I'd have three hundred of them. As it is, with the Sterling arriving tomorrow, I'll have nine.

Who in their right mind NEEDS nine basses?

No one. We only want them. And we want them because we love them.

Now I "need" to eat.

<----notes how Chuck is avoiding the "How's the stone patio coming along?" question.

Well it's going pretty slow, we've had rain and a drunk crew (me). I haven't been feeling good.... did I say it rained?

For the record I have 14 basses, 6 bass amps and no gigs....:(

ps: What were you doing sniffing around down in the Lefty forum anyway Mark??

Clicked on "New Posts", which is how I read the Pit on subsequent visits after my first visit each day. I don't normally visit the cacky hander forum, but a thread with that title by a familiar name certainly attracts the interest of even right handers :D

I was thinkin' the same thing. Maybe he has a monkey on his back. I don't think that forum has anything to do with left handed cigarettes, does it?

Actually, I was born left handed. I just happen to play bass and swing a golf club right handed. ;)

??? Wasn't there some discussion a week or two back about your new gig? I might be mistaken, but I definitely recall some posts about that topic.
