Ever have this problem? Your alternate bass is on a floor stand. You go to switch basses between songs and the cord and/or strap is caught in the stand. DRIVES (DROVE!) ME NUTS!
Found this handy dual bass rack hanger on Bass Central and it ROCKS! Plus my 2 Rays look killer hanging off my rack! Only takes up 1 rack space which I will gladly give up. Check it out:

Oh yeah - the Bass Central pictures make it look like the basses are almost touching. With my 2 Rays there is at least 2-3" between them in natural hanging position. Another plus for Music Man!

$99? If you can weld, you can make one for $5, and they don't use up any space in your rack. Just slip it on top of your cab, under the amp/rack, and you're set. Obviously won't work with a 2x10 or a quad, but with two cabs stacked, or a 8x8, 6x10 or 8x10 it's ideal.

That was me. Since I started playing fretless also it's nice to have two. Plus the one I got from Bass Central folds up inside the single rack space for transportation.

I really like that holder. I have two problems though. No rack space left and my new rig won't be tall enough. I guess I'll have to stick to my 3 space Rock Stand.

OK, here's the dimensions of the steel. The bar is 3/16" thick, 1 1/4" wide, 10" long. The rod is 5/16" diameter
