Best Comment Ever on Modding A Bongo

With (somewhat minor) apologies to the guy who wanted to get more of a "P bass" sound out of the bridge pickup on his Bongo HH, I offer this gem I picked up on another bass forum:

"Yes, I have a Porsche, and I am wondering if there is any way I can use it to haul about a half ton of mulch? I was helping a friend do some landscaping the other day, and i really liked the way his pickup truck hauled a bunch of stuff."

"I am aware that I could buy a decent pickup truck for less money than it would cost to modify my Porsche, and I am also aware that all sorts of Porsche enthusiasts will really be up in arms about such a thing, but what should I do?"

The original poster didn't see the humor in this. I do.

Keep the Porsche original - add a tow bar - buy a trailer, and your away. Imagine going to the landscape suppliers with that combo. I'd like to see that. How does that translate into bass speak though? A Bongo with a P pickup installed.

Good idea - how about a Porsche that has been involved in a rear or front end shunt.

Hack off the good half and convert that into a trailer.
