I have been through a few Stingrays, and I just got this one back from the shop with a fret crown and levelling, as well as a set-up with Ernie Ball flats. Hands-down, this is the best playing and sounding Stingray I have had yet.

Dan said it is one of five built in this configuration: 2-band Mary Kay white. Daddy likes! But, it might need some tort...

Very nice Rex. What makes it better than your other Stingrays? You've owned a whole bunch of them, is it tone or feel?

I've never had EB flats before but I love them on the Bongo I got from you. I'm going to order some for my other basses now - they have great tone, feel and the tension is just right for me.

I've seen a few of these for sale recently and none of them aged as nicely as this one (and mind you they were all beautiful).
a tort guard will make her perfect.

Hiya Brad

The tone for starters, but the fretboard also has a really dense, almost ebony-like, feel to it.

how heavy is your bass? that rosewood board does look almost like brazilian rosewood, nicly figured, i am diggin that white guard though,,, is the neck a litlle on the thin side or chunky,? mines has thin neck,, do you think that heavier bass tend to sound somewhat better more balls,??

What is that green stuff in the background of the photo? I have not seen green since September.
