Best Replacement pickup for a SUB 5 ?

I want to replace the pickup in my bass. Anybody got some tips on what brand I should get..like the best replacment pickup

(as for after market stuff, I'd recommend the Nordstrand Alnico, a buddy of mine dropped one in his SR5 and it sounds great)

Of course, don't let the fact that 5 string Dark Star pickups don't exist yet and when they do, they won't fit the string spacing of the SUB stop you....

Granted, if you are looking for MORE and/or "crispier" sound, I'm not sure that replacing the pickup will do a lot to satisfy your desire other than the desire to change something on the bass. It sounds more to me like you need to play with the EQ on your amp.

Haven't researched Darkstars. Just heard a few people say, "I love the sound of my Darkstar pup" so I just figured i'd throw that in. Like I said, i'm a teenager. I know next to nothing.
