I'm using Boomers on my SR4 with rosewood board and I'm curious what people would recommend on my new SR4 with maple neck?
its used and I want to change the strings to something different since I have been using boomers most of my life..

Hi Tajue,

I'd say that you should use Ernie Ball strings! Try our Ernie Ball Super Slinky roundwound strings, product #2834. This is what is on the bass as it leaves the factory and gives a nice, well-rounded tone. For a brighter tone (which you may or may not need, depending on your opinion of the maple neck versus the rosewood neck) try Ernie Ball Super Slinky Stainless Steel Bass strings, product #2844. We also have thicker and thinner gauges.

Visit your local music store and ask for Ernie Ball strings!

Cheers!
