Well currently I have five (one of which is a bass that I don't play much). Of the four guitars, one is a SUB1 that really doesn't get much playing time. The AL I use for blues-based leads mainly using the neck pickup. I like to bring it to gigs because it looks really cool and sounds great on songs like Blue on Black, Dear Mr Fantasy, and Stray Cat Strut (we play it differently than the original).

My main two guitars are the Silhouette Special and the 20th Silhouette. Of all the EBMM models I have tried... make that of all the electric guitar models I have tried, I like the Silhouettes the best. Put it this way, if the 20th Silhouette was configured as HSS, I probably would never grab another guitar.

How many up to each individuals needs, wants desires, GAS etc. I have had as many as ten and as few as one:) Right now five, all really special and one on order, really dont need any more than that for my crummy bedroom playing:eek::D

But man hard to resist another when you see one on a dealer site or like today visiting GC that looks and sounds killer:eek:

Don't use that "need" word, Keith. I can honestly say that I don't "need" more than one guitar. I don't like that word. I don't like it at all. I'm on a roll now....sold 2 non-EBMM guitars and a 5 guitar stand.....2 still on craigslist. Don't be bringing that word into this forum, pleez. :D
