Hello,

To our German Forum friends: Beth, Brian and I will be attending the Taubertal Open Aire Festival in Rothenburg Germany August 11-15. As an active sponsor of unsigned Music Worldwide we will be supporting our friends Emergenza for their International Battle Of the Bands finals. 20 unsigned bands from around the world will be competing for great Ernie Ball prizes including a Trip to the Warped Tour next year 06.

If any of you guys are attending please look out for us at the second stage on the festival grounds.

Hey I've been there; go see the torture museum... no lie!

They had a punishment for bad musicians; it was a clarinet shaped piece of wood with an iron bar that could be tightened by thumb screws at each end. The bad musician would have his fingers clamped down for days.

Have fun, don’t forget to write. :D

Derek, let's get a picture of Brian up so everyone can see what he looks like. Hey Big Poppa, why is Brian such a lurker?

I saw that very same thing in a torture exhibition in Malta a cuppla weeks back.

Some of the other stuff really made me wonder if we are a civilised species (bearing in mind some of the mediaeval stuff is still in use today in some places)...

On a Bri-ter (geddit?) note, let's see that pic of Brian.

Has there been one of Dargin, Jon Guitarz and Derek yet?

Hi Guys

We made it ok. Except for spilling hot coffee all over Brians leg our flights were pretty smooth. Going to the torture museam and then will watch about 12 hours of live music.

Rothenburg is a ancient city from around 1100AD. It is very cool to step back in time
and wonder around a place that is virtualy unchanged from what is was.

German cuisine is very likable except for the thick layer of cigarette smoke that comes
with the meal.

have fun

We will post some more friday.

Brian, Derek and Beth
