Blessings

Thanks for your thoughts Beth. You are truly blessed to be working with some the best people in the business. On the other hand, It is sad that the USA has turned into an "entitlement" society. Heck I'm even thankful just to own 2 EBMM basses at this time.

Cheers
Rick

Oh honey, if it were only in the USA, I'd be ignorantly blissful in my international department, eating grapes and being fanned with a banana leaf...

I am so fortunate to know all of the knuckleheads here and consider all of them to be part of my family. Including their leader, his court and his appointed potentates (Lord Bongo, the King of Lefthanzia, etc.).

Peace on Earth and good will towards men.

To my international customer service christmas angel.:D That was a great post. Thanks for your thoughts. It was a very nice read. Anytime I've needed help regarding an EBMM issue, you've always helped me out. And I know you've helped many, many others, too. Isn't that right, Foggy.:D  I just wanted to say a great big THANK YOU.

dont worry beth, im sometimes feel like crying (but im a man so i dont :D ) about the state of western society, where people will get so angry if there meal isnt brought to them quick enough or if they dont get the exact present they wanted for christmas, or basically if their whims arent satisfied straight away.

People are DYING!!!!!! overseas because they dont have anything to eat and the only water they have to drink is so polluted.

Today I've really had to put things in perspective in a similar way. I was getting upset because i develpoed carpal tunnel in my wrists which forced me to quit my job which forced me to take a job with significantly less work, which means that my 30th bass in on hold indefinetly, i got punched in the face last week and was left with a black eye and i didnt get the marks i wanted for my fnal yr of school, and lots of things which in the large scheme of things are very small and petty in comparison to what some people put up with on a day to day basis.

So im trying very hard to remain positive, that I have this computer to type on, that i have a wonderful loving family, a roof over my head, food in my belly and a great group of friends and so so so many other things which i tend to forget at times.

it seems that so many people today choose to focus on what they dont have rather than what they do, so thanks beth for helping me get things back into perspective, and you have yourself a merry christmas!

Back in the days when I played guitar I emailed Beth to find out info on the used Silhouette I had just purchased. I wasn't sure if I would get a reply. However, back the reply came with all the info and more besides and some good wishes thrown in for good measure. From then on I knew I would be a long-term customer of EBMM products.

Beth, you are truly an asset to the company. Have a great Christmas. Peace to you and yours.

Great message - thanks for giving us something to remind us of how fortunate we are.

Buddy of mine is an Anglican Minister, just returned from missionary work in Rwanda (actually, this is why he DID NOT accompany me to Dallas to meet one of his favorite guitar gods, but I digress) - he was amazed by the people he met and how happy and content they find themselves even with the hardships they endure avery day.

And there are those amongst us who flip-out when their latte is served late...

My point is we are truly blessed and there is plenty to be grateful for if we just take a moment to look around.
