Well, if it involves basses, I occassionally whip out that name. When I first started posting (ie TODAY), I didn't know how particular everyone was using real names. If it's on here, I might as well call him Stanky...besides, he loves the name (or at least I think he does ;) )

It's odd when I email forumites and I find out their real names... I just can't use them... foggy will always be foggy, and spud will be... spud! Not their real names... oh nooo.

I couldn't imagine calling Stanky anything other than Stanky! :) You get so used to being on here that people take on their forum names! When Tiffles came to stay with me I don't think I called her TIFFANY once... :D

A lot of people called me 'bovine' at the Dallas shindig.....Casey Ball calls me 'bovine' and sometimes Luke does, too.

Weird.

The best people on earth hang out here Rebby. I have met a few and argued with almost everyone here.

This is a great place.

Thanks to BP, and the Ball family.

We all sometimes forget that. We are the ones who are wrong when we do. We are all human.

This is the best home there is.

IMHO

Now do you guys realise how clever I am by having a forum name of DaveB :D :D

Dave

I think you're very clever, Dave.
I, on the other hand, managed to spell my own name wrong when choosing my screen-name.
How the hell did that happen?
Did my brain log off? Did it suffer a stroke?
I mean, only stupid Swedes spell "Kenneth" without the "H", right? ;)
(If Strummer reads this: I'm kidding!!! The drummer in one of my bands is a Swede!)

I'm glad I chose my name for my forum handle, too! :D As long as I've been here, there are still a lot of folks whose real names I don't know.

That's fine with me! I like Foggy better than my real name.
Now if I can only get my wife to call me that. :p

My screen names comes from the old days when you didn't dare let anyone on the Internet know who you were.

Now I feel like you have all seen me naked :D

My family is from Norway.
My full name is Kenneth but they call me Kennet (cuzz they know I hate it!)

And I also get called a "Dumb Swede", doesn't matter that I'm a more
superior Norwegian (I also kid Strummer)

As a person with Swedish roots and a Swedish surname, I'd like to point out that -- unlike KennetB -- I *did* manage to spell my first name correctly before adding the "B" of my surname.
:D

At least we don't have an YngwiM! :)
