Is that gonna be like PRS private stock? - (no disrespect intended, just for my simple mind to comprehend.)


If so I doubt I'll be able to afford one, torture can hurt sometimes, and not in a good way.:(

Doubt it.

PRS's Private Stock program is basically a "what you are willing to pay for" commisioned job when you order one. There's no limits really.

From what I understand, BFR will be more like what Taylor does with their Limiteds. Bob Taylor will get a few nice pieces of Walnut or something and crank out a few dozen guitars with it and release it as a Limited.

I'm thinking, from what I was told, that this will be similar to BFR. Stuff like the Koa and Walnut Silo's that they made for the show.

no it is not a custom shop, and isnt a Private reserve like PRS..IUts a chance for the public to get diferent pieces that we cant offer long term due to supply issues.

what are you looking at for a start-up time for these special instruments?

How about that Koa/rosewood neck 20th silo...that was the sheet. I am think $2,500, but it would be worth it.
