Wow, it looks even cooler in the video, and it sounds awesome! Out of curiosity, has he ever used his 25th on tour?

I guess he won't be using the JP Baritones anymore. As far as I know, he only used them on that song.

Guys lets not push things with Joe. He has a non exclusive signature guitar and is playing a bunch of ours....that is the best scenario possible. He adds credibility to the whole range and you guys are hard wired to have to have a signature guitar. Did Hendrix play a signature guitar? Did Clapton? Did Page? Why cant Joe play what he wants to get the sound he needs to create his art? Think about it...the primary reason for asig guitar is stroking the artists ego and tying them up.....or in our case creating a very specialised tool that is not currently avaiilable for a gifted artist. Generally they are a total wank. Lets pretend we are grown up and not insist that I follow the knee jerk trends of today that make zero sense.

woah, I didn't know you guys put a sitar setting into the 25th!? :D

I gotta admit, the little I've heard of Joe has been typical blues stuff, but the groove he did on the double neck baritone posted yesterday, and now this, have me pretty interested in him. I hadn't been familiar with him until just a few weeks ago. hmmm, where have I been, haha?

He's a great player. I highly recommend his live albums. His albums are good as well, but he gets to cut loose more and do extended jams in the live cuts.

I agree with what you're saying BP, but if you look at Joe's entire rig - he has 2 signature amps - yet doesn't play them exclusively,

you mention clapton, page and hendrix, all of whom have retrospective signature models, I know what you're saying, and Joe seems to pickup whatever he's feeling that day, I've seen him with an SG, and the guitar store we missed him in the other day he was trying a rickenbacker, - It's just exciting (and not wanting to be grown up and worry about mortgages and bills) when you have your favourite guitar company and your new guitar hero come together, I'm sure Joe will do what joe wants to do - seems to have served him very well over the last 20 years,

I'm gagging for a 25th, the double neck looks amazing, and if I sound like an excited kid -it's becuase seeing the kit I want, being played with the people I want to sound like inspires me to breakout the mastercard, a credit to you and your team,

THat's a pretty serious acheivement to get anyone excited about a product in a market where there hasn't been any major developments in the last 20 years...

There's a bunch of vids now of the double neck for The Ballad Of John Henry where he uses the baritone. Good stuff. Looks like a baritone JP on this one.

Joe is fantastic and it's great to see him pushing the EBMM design teams buttons with a Morse Doubleneck! That thing is amazing

I know I'm necromancing an old, old thread, but it seems noone's asked the question:

Any chance you guys will build this doubleneck again? I'd buy a BFR version for sure.

We are meeting with Joe next wed in Riverside as his new CD and tour are now in full swing! Joe has a new guitar idea for his newest featured tune in the set this year and of course has thought of us to get it done! Waiting to find out what he would like to do but Im sure you guys will all be surprised when we find out!

The tune is "Bird on a Wire" and will be released next tuesday! If you get the CD and listen to the tune perhaps you can figure out what he will be asking us to do!

Fun Stuff!
