Hey everyone,

Recently picked up this beast through a deal at the Dallas International Guitar Festival. Was wondering if anyone on here could provide some information, it didn't come with a COA or accompanying documentation.

The seller told me it was one of only two ever produced, can anyone validate that?

Silverburst BFR JP

Serial number lookup dates it to 9/28/2007

Build Code:
962-98-J2-00-ES-CR

And I apologize for the image quality, had to compress it a bit to attach.

Any information would be fantastic!

Insanely nice score. That may have been one sold at a Guitar Center JP clinic, but I can't verify that.

Hopefully someone can chime in, but either way, awesome!!

Edit: From a previous owner of one of them:

"The fretboard looks light
The red writing was only 3 made
1 in the ebmm vault
Mine had a Ebony neck. John’s had a rosewood neck.
That looks more rosewood but it might be the lighting…
The brown G&G case is right though."

Fretboard was super dry when I took that photo. After conditioning and a small truss rod adjustment it now plays perfect. Will upload an updated picture.

Very nice and congrats, who had that at the DIGF? I never saw that one in any booth, interesting with the red writing , do not remember that!

Tone Chaser Guitars, it was a 3-way arrangement between Tone Chaser, Big Hair Nation and myself. I let go of a '87 ESP the Mirage Deluxe and some cash.
