Hi guys! This might be a stupid question, but.. here goes 
Could you use a 7-string capo on a BFR JP7 without damaging the guitar in any way? Are there any "side effects" other than probably wearing out the strings slightly faster? (I'll take it off when the guitar isn't being used). Or are there any other problems that could arise when doing this?
I'm asking because I've been thinking about how I'd tune the 7-string that I've ordered to play the songs where JP uses
C standard tuning with his 6-string. Then I figured "couldn't i just slap a capo on the 1st fret"?
