Well the crazy beagle did it again. The stars aligned themselves and the opportunity to grab this appeared so I did.
This is one of the 6 Koa top BFR Axis Super Sports made for Private Reserve Guitars, I was shocked to find that any were still available.
The circumstances were right to make this possible to get, all I can say is WOW,WOW, WOW, the pics will not do it justice and the tone is out of this world.

Only drawback is I am in a one in-one out situation so the TB ASS is on the block,
but this was a once in a lifetime grab, I can get a TB ASS anytime a Koa BFR NOT!

I also want to give a thanks to Marty Albertson of GC and Paul Christensen of GC.con, MF.com and Private Reserve Guitars for being very helpful with this.

So here are the pics:D

BFR Koa ASS ?

That is one sweeeee-t guitar. Of all the Super Sports, I think that one is my favorite. I think I would give up all my gear ('cept for one of my Zs) to get one. Congrats :D

cheers always, eh

Very nice! How does it sound compared to the stock ASS?

Well only had it a few hours but the mahog tone block adds a deeper richer tone and smooth to play.

Thats beautiful...how did Marty Help? nice of him

Thanks BP yes it is beautiful, this is a special guitar that you made, so I should have thanked you as well, bad manners,

Marty helped with an ordering issue that does not need to be discussed on the forum just a minor miscommunication but the man was there to help so he deserves a shout out for his support:cool:

Koa goodness

That is simply awesome.

man, it's crazy how frequently you go through guitars, but I have to say that this was a nice move and phenomenal score for you.

Please hang on to it! ;)
