Hey guys.

I've got three questions about the BFR Luke.

1.) Is the neck no longer the V? I hear it's now a sexy "C".

2.) Have they ever been offered left-handed?

3.) Are the pickup cavities big enough to house some Dimarzios?

I've got ideas.

1. The one I've got is the V. I haven't done an A/B test, but I haven't noticed a difference.

2. no idea

3. The pickup cavities are the same size as the 'normal' Luke's.

Tim...BFR Lukes never came left handed. Sorry buddy..but that might negate the need for an answer on questions 1 & 3.

Hey guys. Thanks for the replies and concern for my whereabouts. I've just been laying low for the past couple months. Money's been tight, and every time I come on here it results in my wanting yet another piece of gear. Stupid forums do it every time. My absence has been an effort toward financial self preservation.

Now that life has finally gotten back to good, I've spent the last month or so creeping the forums again. I'd mention something here and there but it's been quiet on the Tim front.

So, what am I gassing for? I played a Luke in the most yummy green flame with a "C" shaped neck. I loved it and have been jonesing for one since. In the 25th Silhouette thread, I made mention of wanting a Silhouette Special in the Koa with gold hardware and no pickguard. It dawned on me that a lefty Koa BFR Luke with a pickup alteration and that neck shape I love would be it for me. I figured the forum would be the best place to find answers.

So uhh... Somebody make me a lefty Koa BFR Luke?

I don't get why the regular Luke is offered left handed yet the BFR isn't. It seems strange to me. I'm sure it's something to do with Luke or popularity of the instrument or something. Arrgh.

Also, can anyone give me any background on why this particular Luke BFR that I'm enamored with would have a regular C neck? I could probably get a serial number if that would help.
