Just curious.

Some of BFR basses have the standard plate like this

And some of them have the plate like this

So what is the difference? What this "custom made" inscription means? Afaik EBMM does not have a custom shop, right?

BP explained it in another thread a while ago. I think he said it was just a RANDOM thing. Means nothing specifically.

I was searching the forum but did not find any matching info. I guess it's my bad) If it was RANDOM thing - OK. So there is no particular difference between "Ernie Ball Music Man Custom made" and "Ernie Ball Music Man" BFRs?)

hey Guys, sometimes we do a run of special instruments with the "custom made plates", and other times they will have a standard plate, just depends on what we decide for that particular run.

Thx Willy. Till this time I thought that any BFR is a kind of "special run" =)
