Here is a sweet Sterling we just finished. It weighs 7.5 lbs! Maybe a limited run?

One thing I think is so cool about this (besides the features/specs of the bass itself), and about being here on the forum in general, is remembering that not long ago (I think not long after the BFR Redwood SR4's were unveiled), BP gave us the heads up that we'd see BFR's for other models this year. These are the moments when our patience pays off, and as promised, we get to see these cool creations come into being. Pretty darn cool.

Definitely not my thing. The pin stripe detail is very good, but the black on black with the stripes makes the bass look pretty "cheap". It just looks like something you'd find on the bottom shelf of guitar center next to the Ibanez basses. That's not to say it won't sell a few though, obviously a lot of people seem to like it, so diversity is good.

Wow! Opinions are great, but rude and insulting is rude and insulting no matter how you slice it. Maybe consider the graciousness of our host...you know, the guy that built that bass?

cheeep?

if anything makes it look cheapish its the polychrome pinstripes. I think something in just a pale yellow (buttercream?) would look classier. Or dare I say gold leaf?
Hey if its good enough for a Peterbilt its good enough for a MM.

I wouldn't buy it, but it looks great to me and very original. I appreciate all the variety that EBMM offers us, no one else does it while keeping these standards of quality so we should be grateful.
