Amen! I'm a guy who pays cash for gear.. I don't normally carry any debt except for a mortgage and tiny car loans. But I've had two mortgages on two houses and two sets of utility bills for the last few months. It all ends on Monday though, when the sale of my former residence is complete!

Give me a few months for my wallet to recover! But I must have a quilty Petrucci no matter what my comfort zone says...

SteveB, man...I am planning to work my finances like you one day.

However, these 2007 offerings from EBMM are making things difficult.

man, these new trans colors are amazing! im very excited :) especially that trans black burst... YUMMY

Reminds me of the AL that was shown in Dallas, but I think I like this better.

I understood that all BFR's were limited to a certain extent, with their numbers based upon available resources (number of select choice wood pieces for example).

There will be BFRs like what you suggest, but there will be some that will be more regularly available. These are the Luke and the JP F-1.

You will know if you watch this site and if your dealer is knowledgeable. Most likely, you will just have to watch this site. You probably will be able to order one through your dealer sometime before the end of the month. If your dealer doesn't know what the heck is going on, you can refer them to Beth here on the forum, who works on those international distribution issues for EBMM. I'm not sure how to get in touch with her, but I'm sure it'll be easy enough for you to contact her through posting here. I don't know if sending her a PM is the best way, though. She can probably give your dealer all the information they need to get you an F-1.

Dargin, is there a name for the color in that initial JP7 photo?

Man, I've been dying for a quilt-top JP! The new colors are going to make it difficult to decide!

I'm clearing my credit card in anticipation of the order window.

Steve, looks like Walnut if you ask me.

The boys up at SLO are getting good with these 12th fret inlays. The 2007 LE Inlay the Dargie Delight Inlay, and now, the BFR inlay. Well done guys.

Am I correct in saying the JP will come with the BFR inlay along with the bullet heads? Or will the JP have an option of dot inlays?

Love the BFR edition's of the Luke & JP with the maple tops, but I have to say that I think these big inlays are really tacky IMO.

If there has to be a badge of some sort put it on the back of the headstock or on the neck plate....
