How about all of that but with NO pick guard? That would be super cool if there was!!!! I can see it now. reverse headstock, ebony fret board, roasted maple neck, Purple Dawn or something dark blue sparkle, chrome hardware, both matching and nonmatching head stock options, and a pickguard like not other that just screams super cool!!!!
(DROOL)!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This idea I highly like and vote for!!!!!!!!!!!!How about all of that but with NO pick guard?
That's basically the same as the 20th. No pickup rings!!!How about all of that but with NO pick guard?
The Silo and Silo Special probably aren't puling the numbers. And think about it the Cutlass is really a replacement for the Silo Special in ways. People always complained about the Silo and Silo Special as being too small. Just my thoughts.I'm baffled why they currently only offer it in one color. Do they not sell well nowadays?
I really fancy the smaller body shapes and I wouldn't mind if the Silhouette Special would get updated electronics, e.g. like the Cutlass....The Silo and Silo Special probably aren't puling the numbers. I could see the HT pickups in it maybe.
The Silo has been a BFR, the Silo Special hasn't seen much love.

Yeah, that was my understanding too.i have discussed the Silo with the guys at EBMM and you're right, it just doesn't sell compared to the JP/Majesty lines, the Cutlass, etc. I think they keep it around because it's the root of the EBMM guitar DNA, but don't take too many orders for them.
I had a cutlass for a little while. Great guitar. If it had the old bridge and no buffer, I would have hung onto it.The Silo and Silo Special probably aren't puling the numbers. If people like small guitars (which it sounds like they don't), the Stingray II is pretty darn small! Though it has dual humbuckers instead. The Silo and Silo Special probably aren't puling the numbers. And think about it the Cutlass is really a replacement for the Silo Special in ways. Thanx man, not my cup of tea, I've got 2 Silo Special and really bond soo well with them.If people like small guitars (which it sounds like they don't), the Stingray II is pretty darn small! Though it has dual humbuckers instead.
I loved the new styling of the Stingray II, so I bit - but it does take a little getting used to.
