Great vid & review!
I don't even play bass and it makes me want to buy one. That thing has some killer sounds! On top of being a real looker! :)

Ed, you kill as usual. Thanks for the great demo...

Have these basses been shipped to dealers? I'm looking forward to try that B-string.

Anyone know where can I try one in SoCal?:D

Thanks,

Ed the tone block is huge on both basses and guitars...it just refocuses the mids for lack of better terminology. To just focus on the mahog is the mstake it is the marriage of the three tone woods.

The goal for us with anniversary models is to create a blend of where we started to where we are now and that bass starting with the Alnico through to the three tone wood body works for us.

Of course we know that people will buy them but we dont do anniversary instruments for marketing...we actually want them to be cool and make a little statement that says we remember where we started and are happy where we are going.

Thanks Ed, great tone display. I cannot wait until mine comes in. I may have a new favorite 5 string now.

Great video ... you make it look so easy Ed.

I love to see these videos in general. Pictures, descriptions etc. only go so far ... with the video, you get to see, hear and better understand the instrument in terms of how it looks, sounds etc..

I'd like to see someone do a video that compares a Stingray, Sterling and Bongo!
