Please hire me to handle MusicMan clothing and accessories department.
I will sell my home and move my family to SLO if needed.

Since we cannot place suggestions anywhere, I am posting this Thread.

***** Please don't ban me for being honest. *****

Today is JUNE 4, 2012. Things to be aware of:

1) The 1970's black tshirt is dead.
2) The thin tshirt you are offering (almost see through) is not good quality.
3) You need a better marketing strategy to get appearal out there.
4) If you are looking for examples, a certain company that begins with the letter, "F" has a "Store" Online.
5) Accessorize! Coffee mugs, key chains, adjustible hats, bar stools, clocks, Pens, beer mugs....
6) Please go back to the original MusicMan logo!! It was classy and recognizable.

I never had a "bad quality" shirt from EB. Just saying. Some of mine are many years old to boot. To each his own. Pete pointed you in the right direction.

I got a Musicman t-shirt at Guitar Center for $6 this week and it's fantastic.

Also I am sad that they are looking for a Web Developer but I live on the east coast.

1) The 1970's black tshirt is dead. ANSWER. WE TRY DIFFERENT COLORS END UP GIVEN AWAY. NEED NEW PRODUCT MANAGER TO NOTICE THAT THE TOP SELLING SHIRTS FOR ERNIE BALL, FENDER MARSHALL ZILDGYN ET ALL ARE BLACK. NEED NEW MARKETING MANAGER TO UNDERSTAND THAT HIS PERSONAL PREFERENCES HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH SALES REALITY. EVEN THOUGH I AGREE WITH YOU PERSONALLY. WHAT YOU LIKE PERSONALLY OBVIOUSLY DOES NOT REPRESENT THE MARKET.
2) The thin tshirt you are offering (almost see through) is not good quality. WE ARE BUYING A GOOD QUALITY SHIRT.
3) You need a better marketing strategy to get appearal out there.
4) If you are looking for examples, a certain company that begins with the letter, "F" has a "Store" Online. THERE STORE IS LAME AND FARMED OUT
5) Accessorize! Coffee mugs, key chains, adjustible hats, bar stools, clocks, Pens, beer mugs....WIT'S ABOUT THE GUITARS AND BASSES AS REVENUE PERMITS I WILL CONTINUE TO HIRE ENGINEERS AND CRAFTSMEN
6) Please go back to the original MusicMan logo!! It was classy and recognizable. WHICH ONE WE USE THE ORIGINAL LOGO ON THE HATS SHIRTS SWEATSHIRTS.

Ok I appreciate what you are talking about.....but some friendly advice....you cannot look at the world though only your eyes without tempering it with hard facts. God am I sick of black t shirts.....even in big poppa smokers I tried to sell blue shirts white shirts brown shirts red shirts...guess what the only one that sells is black....

Thank you for your honesty.... I teach guitar as a side job. Parents buy what they can afford, when they can. Choices in shirt design/color are usually the concern. Parents are trying to keep music up-beat. The thin shirt I was talking about is the Ernie Ball Script tshirt. Still no hoodies or swearshirts on US version of EB Store:

Ernie Ball Inc. - Clothes

Kids (as well as adults), like to wear clothing to promote something they like. Adult idea: How about a Polo shirt, full button down shirt or work shirt (with logo on/near pocket area)? Navy or light/dark Gray would be good alternate colors.

I always talk highly of this company and the products offered. I can't wear my guitar to work or out in public, so clothing seems to be a good alternative (please laugh here). Can existing MusicMan tshirts be offered in white or gray with non-Vneck? How about no silver Musicman logo?

Example: Shirt color light gray/Logo color Black
1) Logo on pocket area + sleave only
2) Big MusicMan Logo on back of shirt w/small Logo on sleave or pocket area
3) Two inch word, "MusicMan"on back of shirt w/small Logo on sleave or pocket area

Our newer members come from the Sterling line (very cool !). The Sterling model seems to be a big affordable hit. Is there a Facebook page just for Sterling owners? Brand image is huge. Facebook is the largest promotor of images, so take advantage of it. Sterling owners tshirt?

I'm just trying to help..........Yes, the old school MusicMan logo is the way to go! Hat styles need to be more modern.
Cloth/adjustable straps are better. Example: Hard Rock Cafe hats. "One size fits most".

Thank you for your time and consideration.

It seems that a lot of guys should learn one of your last sentence :
A business has to have a product, customers, and margin.

The "business genius" in my company have forgotten this basic fact ...

If black sells then so be it. To me, black t-shirts remind me of my high school rock concert days so I elected for a grey when purchasing my EBMM shirt.

I have so many black music shirts that I'll go out of my way to find a non-black shirt.

But that's only because I have so many black shirts to start with.

But honestly black just works for the music biz. It makes us look slimmer, hides most dirt, and (most importantly) it matches every color guitar we own!!
