I'm thinking it's either the one BP is holding in this pic or the Buttercream/Rosewood Neck Bongo from the Open House..........

Read earlier in the thread....neither one. BP said he'd tell us if somebody guessed right, and both of those were early guesses.

Too bad. I'd really go for that mahogany Bongo. Really. I have my credit card right here.

I'm guessing it's a Bongo that's had a hole licked in the finish by the Dude, all the way down to bare wood.

Though I don't see the appeal, I've read numerous players inquire about a Bongo with a maple fingerboard. That's my guess.

I know this one's been ruled out, but it looks so damn tasty that I've got to post it here anyway for pure torture!

Tell me about it...I couldn't get enough of that bass at the Open House!

If EBMM had a "Custom Shop", I'd have a copy of this on my stand right now...and it would be the only bass I own that I'd keep the Tort guard on!

Mmm, mmm.

WOW!
Could you imagine if the body was finished like the headstock?!?!

I wish to see a finish like that on a 6 stringer!

I'd love to see a 6 stringer like that but imagine how that bass sounds!

Every Bongo has tone - a neck like that is going to sound soooo sweeeeeet

Nah...this bass is perfect just the way it is.

That Rosewood headstock complimented the ButterCream finish rather nicely!

Yo, wake up out there in Paris, Ben.

We're all convinced (perhaps wrongly) that it will be a Bongo because both Derek and Sterling are sure it's going to send me into fits.

My Official Guess, after giving it some thought and noticing how a certain question for Biff went unanswered.....the "backup" to the Flaming Biff Bongo.

I'm probably wrong, but I'm still going to sit here and have a martini, so there.
