I agree with Movielife, I prefer the feel of the maple, but the tone of the rosewood with single coils. I also vote for the Vintage Sunburst having a rosewood fretboard as looking the best too.

It was that awesome picture if your bass that gave me GAS for the Big Al 5, and after my girlfriend and I looked at the other colour possibilities, that combo you have came out the clear winner!

Congrats. IMO, vintage sunburst is very effective at offsetting the "radical" design of the body, as some call it. I'd love a 4 banger in that configuration.
