Just cos I can... how about a Big Al 5 fretless with an unlined maple fingerboard?

Seriously... I've been contemplating a EBMM 5er to replace my stupidly sold Bongo 5 and this one really ticks all the boxes. Will there be a maple neck version?

The tone from the mahogany 30th Anni Stingray is killer, so I think this is a great move.

I agree. Hog bodied Rays should be done more often.

The Big Al looks very cool as a fiver. Would make a nice looking six string too, but we all know that.

Judging by the responses on both of the Big Al 5 "torture" threads, EBMM has a winner on their hands. What I like about the Big Al 5 is the same thing I initially liked about the Bongo 5; a unique look/shape. Not to mention that it's an EBMM!

NICE!!!! Cool + Funky + Space-age + Trad ... all in one bass. And ten thousand tone combinations. I wonder if the necks on these will be closer to SR5, Bongo, or Sterling5?
