NICE!!!! Cool + Funky + Space-age + Trad ... all in one bass. And ten thousand tone combinations. I wonder if the necks on these will be closer to SR5, Bongo, or Sterling5?

The four string neck is identical in shape to the Sterling neck, so it stands to reason that the 5 string neck will be the same as the Sterling 5 neck.

According to the Big Al 5 -String Single H Torture Thread:
guys please try to be patient...we have a show to get ready for and these posts are torture not introductions. I know you are all excioted but entitlement is creeping in

But Thronton to answer your questions.....

1. 18V

2. It is the best pickup we have made to date. It is the H out of the 25th...ceramic magnets would to stingray specs on bongo bobbins

3. Actice passive

4.Same profile as the sterling 5

5. No phantom coil

Any more questions for the CEO? Thanks Thornton

DAMN!

Somebody please HIRE me already!!

I need a job for one of THESE!
exactly! I am in subsistence mode right now. Had to pass on an $800 blue dawn Sterling on CL this week because my job got scaled back (carpet pulled out from underneath me more like!)

Somehow I am gonna get all the EBMM's I want by the end of this year. It may involve human trafficking and extortion/larceny but it will so happen.

SSSweet!!

I just came across this by accident in my search for a new bass. Being stuck out in the Atlantic (Newfoundland, Canada), there's not much choice than to search the web if you're looking for something other than a J, P or SDGR. I think this if the finest departure from "normal" that I've seen. Having listened to the Ed Friedland video review and reviewing the specs, I think this is my next bass. I'd love to see an all white one with a Jetsons graphic PG:cool: I never joined a forum before and have never played a Music Man but this is too cool...now if I can get to mainland Canada to try one out...
