It's that time of year again…. we've got the great pleasure of playing at the NY Marathon.

We're at 6th ave. and Central Park South, about a half-mile from the finish line. We start at 11:30 and finish up at 2:15.

If you're in town, drop by and say hello!

Mr. Large Albert will be on display.

Highly unlikely.

In 2009 we were at Columbus Circle - the final turn - right next to a jumbotron and a camera. They never turned the camera towards us.

That's as it should be, really... it's about the runners.

This year we're a half mile away, and about 100 feet from the course itself. It'll be packed with people cheering... but they'll be facing away from us for the most part.

Doesn't matter. We still get to play for thousands.

In my Band we say any gig where we don't have to play behind chicken wire is a good gig :)

Our philosophy is that as long as people are dancing, we're successful.

Of course, that means that one lone drunk guy lurching around the room and bumping into things means it's a successful gig…..

Hey, when you set the bar low, you win a lot.
