I found, and ordered, this beauty from Bass Central. Can't wait to be back with an EB and a gorgeous 5 string once again - HSS with a Rosewood top and all rosewood neck. After selling my last G&L this will be my only bass - I'm excited about all the tonal options that these have!

I had an all rosewood neck classic that I sold and missed ever since. I've been looking for the right rosewood EB for a while, though I had contemplated a NT 'Ray, I am very happy with this decision. :D:D:D:D:D

I just had to sell my Big Al being on the wrong side of this huge Emerging market, commodity rout. Maybe my luck turns around & I can grab another one someday. Cool bass

Beautiful! My Rossewood Reflex is my go to bass. Comfortable neck, great sound, and killer looks.

Finally getting around to posting some pictures here... I had some reservations that the switching and 4 band EQ would wreak havoc on my tone OCD, but this system is very intuitive. I've already found two or three settings that have been my go to with this bass.

It's immaculate and so well put together. Kudos to all at EB for knocking the ball out of the park with this!

I know it's a business decision but I am bummed about it. I don't fully understand the Reflex decision because it is still going to be made as a Game Changer so I don't know why they can't still make them minus the Game Changer in them because everything is still the same. It's actually less work. The Big Al was also a shocker because I thought it was unique and a lot of people seemed to like the basses. I was also bummed about all of the colors going away. It seems like the only ones that will now be available are basically just very basic ones. I wanted my next Bongo to be in the metallic blue they offered but that's not going to happen now.

Well, crap... I just posted this the other day, but after a sleepless night I have decided to put this beautiful instrument on the market - purely for financial reasons. I mulled it over and I just can't get rid of my El Dorado Gold Classic Ray... I let go of one Classic Ray and can't do it again.

Before I posted it in the classifieds, and on TB, I thought I would let those in the Big Al / Reflex thread know about it. Asking $1700.00 shipped - which is a steal as this bass is only about two weeks old and has only been to one band rehersal. PM me if you're interested...

One more reason to keep my Quilt Top forever.
I have some really good sounding basses but it is my go to bass because it sounds the best, imo.

I really love my 25th Anniversary with the rosewood neck, but economy is not good and I'm letting it go…I'm selling it.
