I must say that I really really like how PB so often talk about social aspects, families and having fun both in this clip and regarding EB company matters in general. I really really like that. A splendid attitude.

I have no doubt that American BBQ is great, even I didn't try any! (yet)

But I also doubt that anybody can beat BBQ from the Balkans, especially my neighborhood countries like Bosnia and Serbia, there's for sure No. 1 BBQ in the world! ;)

It was edited really funny...Basically they told me I was too old.....I did a lot of cooking and it doesnt look like it. We cam in first in t beans 2nd in ribs and third in gator and there is a story behind that but I will get sued if I tell it. It was fun and Jody is the plant manager in coachella and I think he did a great job He had never done any tv and he was great

Argh, mainstream media doesn't make sense to me... You are Big Poppa, and someone with a lot of character from what I've seen, not to mention "a story".

Too old, how the heck old are the Triggs? I'm just sayin'. They probably were afraid you'd steal too much spotlight. LOL

The challenges looked crazy (and I'm from South Florida, those who saw it will understand what I mean) and the ribs looked fantastic.

I thought it was a little strange that you took 3rd overall, when all of the judges said that the 2nd-place team's ribs didn't have enough flavor...

As a restaurant owner I can easily state that foodies are an interesting bunch of people. And those three judges are no exception. Two of them are just a bit too snobish for me.

It's fun watching people pour their hearts and souls into cooking a meal. It's their art and they're every bit as passionate about it as we are with our art (music).

Koodo's to your team, BP. They made national TV and should be very proud of their accomplishments.

I was watching this with the wife last night. It was good to see the team up there. I was able to explain to her that they are the guys that make the fantastic basses I have grown fond of. She felt you were robbed. I'm hoping her sympathy will lead to me getting a Classic SR very soon.

Great piece of TV, great BBQ skills, ribs and beans looked very tasty.

BP, was it pretty light around there or was it full on cometition mode? My wife kept saying you looked pretty frazzled with what was happening and was curious to your take on how things went down (also, how edited was the bit at the end where you guys had 10 seconds to plate things?)
Thanks

Ah, I get the teams now.

1. Trigg, the old but still quick gunslinger. Might be over the hill - or maybe not. Do you feel lucky, punk?

2. Diva, the obnoxious but lovable (?) big-boned gal who has braved the suburbs and is now taking on - um, ribs.

3. The Young Turks with the fancy truck full of electric gee-tars. The new kid on the block, as it were.

4. I can't figure out a schtik for the black guy, who seemed nice enough if a bit over-focused on the 5K.
