Today, FedEx should be delivering my SR5 to
SLO for warrantee repair ... does that count ?

It's kinda like a greeting card ... except that
the "stamp" cost $75. Then SLO hasta ship it
back to me, so FedEx is prolly making more
money on this ax than EBMM did :-(

Dude I think you missed the whole point of this thread

Thanks for the tireless innovation, all the options to play with, and for the priviledged view in to the history and process that we enjoy here. And thanks for my Ray34! It's a great bass, and no kidding, if you hadn't made it available, I might not have a bass right now.

Thanks everybody (except for Golem)

It is great to see chuck the king back...

I am taking a little break after the last go round only 7 bought what caused attacks on my company family and self.

Ill stick around but I can no longer expose my self to what it has turned into.....

I'm just not the sentimental type, but that
doesn't interfere with my admiring BP for all
that he [and his dad, and family, and crew]
have done for us, and keep on doing for us.

BTW, my "greeting card" was repaired and
ready for return shipment almost before it
got there. I'm no quantum physicist, but I
know thaz damnt fast turn-around. As Will
Lee said, "Good work ... good work".

Glad to hear it Pops this would not be the same place without you, however you must have some thick skin, I really don't think I could be so humble.

Thanks again dude

Having just recently started checking in here again after a while, I guess I missed the entire 19mm cycle. I won't ask for a re-hash of what's obviously a tired and sore subject (and I know how to use search), but I think I get the gist of it. I just don't see how or why personal or family criticism/attacks *should* come in to play over something like that, and I think it's pathetic. Hope you don't get too disenchanted over it in the long-run, BP. They're just not worth it, and there's a universe of enthusiam and appreciation in the industry for what you do. But I can certainly understand what a bummer it is.

made me think about the 50th Anniversary countdown clock on ernieball.com. What are the knuckleheads going to do to celebrate that?

I really appreciate what BP has done for bass and for me. My sound is very much due to my EB basses and how well they suit me. I would not own so many if they were not killer! Thanks again BP. Enjoy your day!
