I mostly lurk but thankful for BP. I've found myself musically through my SR5. I no longer have to think within a box and I'm happier for it. BP and the EBMM gang have given me/us so many choices. And I actually can say that I've considered a Bongo because of that! :D

Please know that you are appreciated!

Quote:" I am taking a little break after the last go round only 7 bought what caused attacks on my company family and self."

Quote: "I just don't see how or why personal or family criticism/attacks *should* come in to play over something like that, and I think it's pathetic."

I'm extremely saddened to read this.

Similar to the writer above, I hadn't followed the whole debacle, but as someone involved in Manufacturing, I had thought the original poster demanding 19mm spacing, completely naive in their lack of appreciation of the complexity and costs involved in implementing such changes to an already existing Production Setup. And over what is in reality a non issue to the overwhelming majority.

In any case, it is a major distraction from everything else, the people in a Company like EBMM need to be doing, especially in today's challenging economic climate.

But personal or personnel criticism and attacks, should not ever be tolerated, and are good reason for a temporary or complete banning of anyone involved.

The problem with making yourself available on Fora is, a bit like giving your heart when you fall in Love, you expose and make yourself vulnerable.

But when you give one heart, sometimes, you get back two; and in Big Poppas case, he has won many hundreds of thousands.

Avid admirers all over the World, that Love and Admire the Character and Qualities that drive his fine Company.

And make it the Legend in the Music Industry that it is today.

But all that Greatness, is in reality.

Just a mere extension.

Of Himself.

And the many great people, working with him, at EBMM.

BP day? every day I play my Ray! I Still think it amazing the boos man actually posts, talks to you and is so active on a major manufacturers forum, still appalled at the comments to Mr Ball and family et al from "fellow musicians " during the 19mm issue, very saddened that is has such a knock on effect, but hey thats life, so its off to play the Ray and another BP day!

Good Journey..

Today, FedEx should be delivering my SR5 to
SLO for warranty repair .... does that count ?

It's kinda like a greeting card .... except that
the "stamp" cost $75. Then SLO hasta ship it
back to me, so FedEx is prolly making more
money on this ax than EBMM did :-(

They will take good care of it..I sent my Trans white 92 out to them for some work. They did a great job AND slapped on another brand new set of group III flats free of charge...Now that"s alright!!

I know I'm not the most vocal or well known person on this board. BP I know we have never met, but I still just want to thank you for the two great basses I have. I usually find something I like and stick with it. That's what I've found in my two great Stingrays.
