Hello and here is some pleasure for some and torture for others...... I am sorry for torturing but here is the gig......

Biff Baby's Allstars
Thursday Dec 29,2005
The Tack Room
52nd and Monroe, Indio California

Here is a chance to see Biff Baby's Allstars. We have been playing for twenty two years. have toured Australia, Europe, Japan and all over USA. This is a very special night for us.
As many of you may know Steve Morse's wife Janine had some very serious health issues that were quite frankly touch and go. She is fine. I confided in Steve after veiwing the rough cuts of the open house hi def footage that I was quitting playing due to my disapointment in my performance. He said B.S. he said some nice things and one of them was Im coming out as soon as Janine can travel and we are going to do a gig....No video crews just an old fashioned gig.

Last night Steve called me to wish me a Merry Christmas and to tell me that he was on his way to California and I better have a gig booked! All of the moons aligned and everybody is available.

Here is the line up

Steve Morse
Steve Lukather
Albert Lee
John Ferraro
Cliff Hugo
Jim Cox..(the best musician I know;....Steve Morse calls him Mr Music Business..keyboards.)
Big Poppa
and our newest invitee....Mark Hart from Crowded House and Supertramp and TONS of Tv movie and sessions stuff.

Admission is free and forumites are welcome.

Hope to see some of you there!

Post if you plan on making it!

Wish I lived down that way...I'd go in a heartbeat!

Disappointed in your performance...too bad the cameras didn't catch our jaws dropping the minute you started thumpin' on the Bongo!

Always your own worst critic...been there many times.

TORTURE FOR ME!!! :(

Quitting playing due to your performance? I loved seeing you play! For those that missed it at the open house, BP can groove!

This sounds like an awesome line-up, sure to be a blast. Please let us know when the Biff Baby's hit the North East circuit - I will be there! :D

BP,

Sorry I can't make that gig, I'm sure it will be kick-ass. I am very glad to hear that Janine is recovering and well enough to travel.

BP, I just finised watching the Albert Lee instructional video with you on bass. You sounded great! I remember seeing this several years ago. Was that the "your pal biff baby" bass?

Any "beer" involved and can I get a "plus 1" on the guest list??? I just happen to have an opening Thursday night after 5:00 and it's a short hop involving honey roasted peanuts.

Torture it is:mad:

With that line up in mind, I actually checked the possibility of going, but work keeps me tied down and the only air line tickets I could find were, well, expensive.

Rock the house, and don't you ever consider quitting! From what I've heard from the participants at the open house your playing is as good as ever.

Man I wish I could see this one!

BP, cut the BS! If you weren't your hardest critic, you would never have gotten to the level of playing that you are at. You just hang around with some of the best in the world and that makes you question your skills even more. You rock!

BP, sorry to miss out on this one. Maybe if I had more time (vacation planned during this time) I could have swung out there. Might have even talked kbaim into a trip out there as well.

First off, we all saw you play at the Open House with us knuckleheads and we definitely saw you on stage with the Gods! You can play, I wish I had 1/2 your talent.....but I am working at it....heheheheh....

Post any pics if some are taken as I am sure they will be.

Take care and have great time.

Norm thinks that quitting is absolutely the right thing for you to do.

The man in the picture is a professional. Do not attempt this stunt unless properly supervised

That shot was taken after I went back to the motel...was BP doing sit-ups on stage? :D

The fact that he can sit like that for an extended period of time is the most amazing part. I wish my abs were in that good of shape! :p

You were in the bag from winetasting firestone and the banquet on your keyboard...see what you missed!
