(Ok im gonna get a lot of cr*p for saying this)
Love the neck, its amazing,
BUT but that brown just doesnt go against the green and gold.
If that was a standard gold roller, i'd wet my pants.

Buckethead, I was going to say the same thing, but I knew I'd be ousted from the group.

I have to say that that thing loos awesome, even though it's got gold hardware. If it were available in chrome, I would have bought one for sure!!! Love they neck by the way.

Though in those pictures the gold goes well with the green.

No judgment but...
These are classic earth tone color combinations. Brown and green (particularly a green that morphs to a cinnamon) accented with gold.
You must not be married to a brown-eyed redhead. Brown and green with gold accents are a wardrobe staple.
(Yeah, that's right, I am Big Poppa's original lottery winner - 22 years ago I married a red-headed cheerleader:eek:)

and now back to our original really cool guitar thread

Hahaha... Of course it can. Just wondered why the choice to have it finished. I was wondering if it was necessary to seal the neck after roasting?

My D2 is rapidly approaching #1 status, too - I haven't played another guitar in over a week and a half.

All these awesome D2 Gold Rollers are making me second guess my BFR JP6 purchase...

Yeah, same with me and my JP7. I'm sure once it gets here I'll be happy with it, but man these GR DD2 pics are killin' me!

But Pete don't you tend to find that true when you get a new guitar?

Seems to be that way for me.
