Love the Natural 'Ray.
Not sure about the slab body. What are the advantages of the 'string-through' bridge?

Interesting point actually.

What is the neck profile?
Like todays Stingrays?

The old PreEB's had a also a slightly slimmer neck profile. I kinda liked that...

+1

The neck profile was probably the best thing about the early pre-EBs. Very nice feel, similar to early 60s Precisions.

Apparently nobody ever asked all of us if we wanted Seafoam Green..I think I'm reading about a 75% acceptance rate just because of that color.
Sign me up - when will my local pusher, er, dealer.. start taking deposits..? (And yes, I'm not even close to seeing the Bongo5 I ordered 3 weeks ago).

These basses look great... however, i'm a bit bummed that the '05 LE color "Buttercream" is being used(again). Just seems like the '05 Limited Edition Series basses are no longer "limited".

I am amazed at the number of new things you guys come up with BP. These look great.

My bank account is very happy that I play Bongos, right now (Big Al too, tonight!) Of course, I expect that to change with the next new idea that involves the Bongo!

Cheers

1. Are you SURE of the color? I'm not, we'll find out

2. It's not going on everything is it? The Cream makes me want it, it's classic.

First, I'm not sure it's the same shade, but in any case, the LEs have all the additional LE bling.

For those regulars I have always said that I didnt want to do this and that we would do this when we ran out of ideas. We arent out of ideas but there is demand and workers to pay and who says you cant offer it all?

Now here's where you separate the leaders from the boys. BP has spent a lifetime dragging us all into this new millenium, changing the way we look at our instruments. And when we (all) fall in to some difficult economic times, he hands the reigns over to Scott and Glen (who knock it out of the park) all in the interest of keeping people employed.

Right on, BP, Scott, and Glen. Right on!
