Big time bass question

The 20th SR5 is THE 5ver I've been looking for all my life! It's dead-sexy! Too bad I can't afford one.

Ah, well... my bevel-less SUB5 will have to do for now.

Far as I can find the Stingray 4 does not have the beveles either...but the 5 does. Maybe it's a 5 string thing, who knows.

This may have been mentioned, but the bevels on the SR5 were a result of the guitar on which it was (somewhat) predicated.

The Sterling 5 has no such antecedents, which is why I think 'no bevels'.

But again, who knows? Prolly Dargin and/or BP.

Since the SR5's electronics were based on the Sterling 4, I wonder how the Sterling 5 will differ (smaller neck?) and maybe shape. But I wonder about the pickups.
