+ 1. Who are they? Sound Great.

They are a Canadian band that started around the mid 90's. They broke up and Ian started his own band Thornley around 2001-2002. He's back with Big Wreck now. Check out their stuff. Great bands and an underrated singer and guitarist.

Check out Youtube. There's a lot of stuff there.

A friend of mine turned me on to BW two years ago and I thought they were a new band. Great to see that they're back! They should have been much bigger, imo. Thanks for sharing.

Great guitarist with a terrific and unique voice, they really should have been a lot bigger outside of Canada. Earlier "hits" include "The Oaf", "Blown Wide Open", and "That Song", if any of you are interested in checking them out.

I think that he sounds a lot like Chris Cornell, which to me is a good thing.

I finally got around to getting this cd. The title track seemed kind of mellow so I wasn't sure what to expect. Especially since they've been gone so long. Lots of great tunes on this release. It sounds like they're continuing where they left off with their distinctive huge sound. I'm really glad that they're back as it's been a while since I've thoroughly enjoyed a full cd this much. One of the first tracks (A Million Days) has a lead that sounds like it's Steve Morse influenced. I guess I think that anytime I hear a chromatic run.

Maybe you can take a track of that "mellow" song to work with you and serenade "the boys". Ha Ha.

Totally- every time I hear that I think he's copped some killer Morse licks.
