I'll never live down the switching from Trans Teal to Black :)

( But I'm glad I did, I love my black Ray, looks perfect, plays perfect, sounds awesome! )

Long story about the delivery attempt!

I checked the status while I was at work & I saw that FedEx made a delivery attempt. Huh? My wife AND our babysitter were both at the house! I called home, and my wife told me that FedEx left the little "we're holding your package hostage" notice. Grrrrrr......

Anyway, I asked my boss if I could leave work early (after only the 2nd day of work :D ) since I had to practice with my band, and I also wanted to try to drive to the local FedEx joint to rescue my bass. I called FedEx twice this afternoon, and both times they told me that the truck had not returned to the warehouse. I decided to head over anyway before band practice. I lucked out...the bass was there!

Right as I was leaving the warehouse, the mother of all rainstorms decided to hover over Baton Rouge. It was quite comical to see me holding an umbrella that was doing absolutely no good at keeping me dry, along with an immense cardboard box containing my bass. :D I got soaked to the bone (as did the box), but the bass & case survived high & dry.

I then got drenched a second time when arriving at the drummer's house.

I then got drenched a third time when leaving the drummer's house.

I then got drenched a fourth time when arriving home & finding my mother-in-law's car parked under the carport next to our other vehicle.

Anyway, I'm fine now, the bass is home, and I'm enjoying it! Thanks, Ken!!
