I love flames. Or even better "wild" maple with a combination of flames and eyes. My 30th is of that variety. Very yummie. And very distracting while playing ;)

There are a bunch of beautiful maple necks on this post, especially those late 80s/early 90s ones

I guess my Classic might be wild maple then - it is also v distracting to play ;)

That coral red looks like a dark pink. It's really nice!
I'm having a difficult time choosing which color I want for the classic I'm getting ready to buy.

I had the same dilemma. I narrowed it down to the blue, white, and the black.

I couldn't decide for the longest time, then by chance, the local store had all 3 at once, all with birdseye and maple fretboard. I still had to think about it for a while but I chose the one that had the nicest birds eye. They all played very similarly. I don't think you can go wrong with any colour really. They're all super nice looking.

I'm from the skinny side, but felt the urge to post the neck on my 2003 Luke; birdseye with a hint of flame..I even occasionally hang it on the wall backwards because I could stare at it for a loooooong time ;)

Freddels - the colour ranges from bright red through to pink dependent on the lighting - it's a very cool colour IMO - but about to be discontinued if not already.
