Black fingers after playing Majesty

Greetings, all. Just had a quick question about the majesty fretboard: is it known to turn fingers black? I know some ebony fretboards do this. I'm also using coated strings, but this particular brand has never given me this issue before.

No black fingers from my Majesty Monarchy, but I've had it from other guitars and it was from the strings, as it would show up on a cloth when wiping them down. Rub your strings with a white cloth and see if anything shows up.

I get a graphite like coating on my fingertips from playing. Even on maple fretboards. I assume it's my body chemistry reacting with the metal strings.

I’d just clean the fretboard next time you change strings with some boiled linseed oil, lemon oil, or the Ernie Ball Wonder Wipes. If it still does it after that it is likely just the strings.
