Recently noticed some surface rust on the saddles and height adj screws on my fairly new LIII with the black hardware. I also noticed that the finish is starting to wear off the trem arm (I am definitely not a heavy trem user, but leave the trem arm on when I put back in case)
I really just play at home and not sweating (nor is my arm really near there that much) or dropping beer or anything on the guitar. Guitar lives in a fairly stable climate indoors.
The only reason I got this finish was for the ebony neck. Would really prefer chrome or at least black chrome.
Its just a little disheartening that couple $K instrument is doing this and now I have to touch up with a sharpie.
Anyone else have similar experience? I seem to have zero issues with my strats (black and plated hardware) or JPXI
