Black Sapphier White Perloid?

Hello all...

I am new to the Ernie Ball forums so I thought I would kick things off with a question.

Does anyone here have a picture/pictures of a 4 string Bongo HH Black Sapphire with a White Perloid pickguard?

The thing is I ordered one and would like to see what the combo actually looks like. (looking back I don't think it was the best descision ordering something when you don't even know what it looks like... but I was caught up in the moment of looking at MM basses heh heh heh)

It's the only Bongo pic I have in that combo.
Sapphire Black seems to be most popular with Moonstone and Black Ice pickguards. I think the white looks awesome!

LOL bassmonkee. Ya know I been around awhile and foggy never has posted a pic of my SR5 ahead of me.


There are lots of pick guards that will look good with your new bass. White anything will look good and so will Abalone or Moonstone. IMHO of course.

Sorry I don't have a pic to offer either.

I am going to bet you enjoy the heck out of it once you get it.

Hanging out here will be what gets you through until you get it.

And I believe it is foggy that has the most knowledge of that.

The cool thing is if you don't like it 100%, you can always change the pickguards.

Actually, hanging out here will make it much worse, and you'll end up with lots of Bongos. Which is, of course, a good thing.

But I have this one, and I always wondered if there was in fact a red ring around the black!?

Yeah, it has the red ring. I like it, but I think I'd like it more if the bass was gloss black, and not Sapphire Black.
