Black Sugar Axis w/ Roasted Maple and Ebony Board...this Axis rocks.

Great guitar, congrats! Would you mind sharing how you got this one made as from what I know the rm/bs package wasn't available on Floyd Rose equipped guitars...it's gotta be quite a rare piece

I got it Guitar Center .com for a really good price. Much cheaper than the JP in roasted maple / black sugar at my local GC store. I think we can't quote prices here out of respect for different dealers.

This Axis sounds so nice, even unplugged. The cord only goes so far, and I need to walk around the house. I can't seem to take it off. Very well balanced.

I didn't know if the back would be black sugar, or just plain black like the other Axis guitars, but it is black sugar on the back. I am very, very happy about that.

Congrats Bryan that is Wicked! Wow I dont know where to start but the first pics did not show the white binding which in the second batch makes that mother pop, and that neck is sick. Everyone is right the RM/BS package did not include Floyds so you not only have the first Axis we have seen in RM/BS you have the only guitar known of with a Floyd. You stepped back into the world of EB at the perfect time, as well as stepping in something else to lol.

Thanks Mike, I got goosebumps when I read your post. I went into the family room to show my wife the goosebumps and tell her what you said about this being the only known Floyd-equipped Axis in these specs. She was not the least bit impressed. At least I have all of you guys cheering me on...

I love that Axis! Congrats! I could be wrong but, that could be the only one. I too thought that an Axis with a Floyd was not an option with this package...

I love you guys...the flyer has everything...and still the requests...

Think of this as the new Dargie 3 any color as long as its black sugar...no matching hs.....no floyd no classic

Even if they sell a bunch at GC, and it's not rare, I'll still have some goosebumps. It is so nice.

It's one of my son's 14th b-day today, and they are coming over. They play guitar and bass. I know, no drummer. I can't wait for them to see the tinted neck on this baby...

They will goof on the cheetah strap, for sure.
