I like it better with the shell also....but..the black is to dull...maybe if they offered it in a gloss finish....?

I like black/tort (a classic combo), but I'm not so sure how it would look with sparkle. Then again, I'm not partial to black sparkle in the first place.

That tort doesn't look like stock EBMM...mine is a lot darker and more brown w/yellow flecks. Can you tell us where that pg came from?

It is my understanding that there are 2 types of tort, 'tort' such as yours, and 'red tort' such as his.

The last photo in Ken's post is of my ex-SR4. The tort guard is indeed an aftermarket PG that I picked up on eBay.
