Hi

Hello, I would like to change the bridge block of my sterling maj100 guitar, what measurements do I need? 32mm? any ideas?

Thanks. :)

If it's just changing the bridge block but otherwise keeping the bridge plate, saddles, etc., rest of the trem system, probably just take the block off and get its dimensions, then find a block of comparable size. I don't know if anyone makes an aftermarket replacement, though, so you may wind up talking to a machine shop to fabricate one for you, or at the very least you may need to drill some new holes to mount it if you find something close.

If you're talking about replacing the entire bridge/trem system, it depends on how far you're willing to go in replacement.

I want to change the block, the bridge works fine. but I need to know the measurements to be able to see what I need to buy.

Specifically, I need to know if the screw holes are of standard size in all the blocks (attached photo).

There is no standard size. Some maker use metric screws and threads, some use imperial/inch sizes and threads. But the dimensions and positions of the screw holes and holes for the strings must also match up precisely. Your best bet is to contact Stering by Music Man directly and ask them. If they cannot give you that information then you should dismantle the bridge and make your own measurements as accurately as you can.
