I missed the game. I thought it was on at 1:30pm.... but that was Eastern time. D'oh.

Right now I am still into the Basketball Finals. Lakers need to win the last two games at home now. After that, maybe I'll find time to get into soccer.

Not sure how bad a colonoscopy is but those horns are boarderline unbearable. If the US fielded an underwater basket weaving team I'd probably watch and cheer for them. That said, not counting the US/Eng. game, I haven't been able to watch for longer than 5 or 6 minutes. I loved playing little league but just can't get into watching it. Good luck to everyones team though.

I know what you mean. Being an Italian and not interested in soccer makes me a weird guy here, hehe!
But yes, watching games is often boring.

I guess it's all relative. I don't understand how games where there are just points scored every time there is an attack are interesting, whereas a great game of football/soccer with a one-nil scoreline can be just the most exciting / nerve-wracking thing in sport......you have to work so hard to get a goal that it makes them special rather than just a stat (US goal the other night notwithstanding!). ;o)

Baseball, basketball, ice-hockey...all great fun to play, but to me not fun to watch.......must be a culture thing as same as you guys with soccer - I just don't get it.....
