I can't help myself, the latest addition pic is below...

BP & EBcrew, thanks for offering this color again!

And yeah, I guess the neck on the JP is ok  It's an odd mix of birdseye, flame, and what appears to be almost a quilt.

Sweet guitars Pete! You're making me rethink my decision to go with Black Cherry Burst for that Axis I just ordered from you!!! Hey, maybe I'll have to buy another MusicMan! Maybe my wife will kill me first :)

Mitch, your Axis is going to be fantastic, just you wait! I'm always eager to have repeat customers... provided they stay alive.

Pete,

Nice Blue Dawn collection - still love that one-off AL with the factory humbucker. The neck on the JP is really unique also.

Pete, you dirty dog you :D. I didn't know that BD Silo Bass was yours. I wouldn't mind owning one of those babies one day.

Position 4 in Parallel Mode on a clean channel smokes... Tuned A-A it makes one heckuva racket with chicken pickin. I was jamming along to Save A Horse Ride A Cowboy, and then followed it up with some Blind Faith on the overdrive channel with Position 2 in Series Mode

You gonna take out the D-Sonic again, Pete?

It shipped out with .009s and while I don't like how they feel I do kind of enjoy how they sound with the D-sonic in this particular hunk of wood. I will be setting it up with .010s tomorrow, and if the tone changes and not what I want to hear in my head then yes, out comes the bridge pickup. Of course, I will have to locate another original JP bridge pickup......

The very first night I played this guitar it made me bleed. I was beating on the guitar more than I usually do, and about 2 minutes into "Simple Simon" when I went to palm mute a hard hit chord the G string sliced open the bottom edge of my hand and I spattered the trem area with red dots. Yeah, this guitar is a keeper :D

Yeah, Blind Faith! Thats like one of my alltime favorite DT songs. The unison in that just kills. JP at his finest. :D
