Blue Dawn SR LE Arrives!

Hi Folks!

Its here! My Blue Dawn SR HH LE arrived this afternoon hot of the flight from USA this week. Its my first Stingray, so hopefully it was going to be as good as the ones I tried in the shops. I wasn't disappointed! It is by far the best bass I've owned, no dead spots, perfect set up out of the case with spot on intonation. Thankyou Ernie Ball . Oh and that mid position PU sound is to die for, great for a real funky sweet tone.

Heres some pics of my new Stingray. I haven't been able to put her down so far!

A new gig has come in for next Saturday so looking forward to the first live outing.

Something tells me I've got this posting pictures thing wrong, but I'm sure somebody will point me in the right direction.

Just to say I placed my order late March, and originally delivery was estimated to be late August/early September. I was really pleased with mid-July!

Having tried the 'no pickguard' look for a few days to show off the blue sparkle , I'm convinced the egg shape of the pickguard IS a huge part of the Stingray character. No problem, order a clear plexi one I thought... Plenty of single PU versions available online, but after at least 90mins on google searches I couldn't find any HH clear plexi ones in the UK. Can anyone help?

Just to say I placed my order late March, and originally delivery was estimated to be late August/early September. I was really pleased with mid-July!

I placed my BD order with my dealer on May 5 (birthday present to me from me ), so I'll probably be at least another month I'd imagine.

Way 2 go on the Blue Dawn LE, what a beauty!!! whobody knows with a sweet unit like that you may even get lucky and meet a fine Irish lassto fill out the family photo album ... looking forward to more pics , Gary...
