Just route your Al for 2 hums

There's no need to rout anything!!!!

I wanted to shift my AL into a more heavy rock niche but I didn't want to modify a DD in any way that wasn't reversible. I'm absolutely going the play this baby (no display case trophies allowed!) but I do want to respect the 'rareness' at the same time!!!!

You BCer's cant leave well enough alone!

I think it's something in the air..err..uhh... or maybe the "vegetation" :D

hmmmmm, my Albert does the heavy stuff pretty good the way it is...............

trust me, these little DiMarzios make this AL sound like no other AL I've heard, yes the MM90s and the SD singles are great but the mini-buckers are nuts!

You are right that the AL can deliver pretty good heavy rock tones in its stock trim (especially with the MM90s) but I needed thick 'bucker tones (hence the choice of the Tone Zone P-90s) as well as ultra snappy split tones. I also like to have a sizable treble bleed cap too...typically a 470pf is to my taste.

For the record, we have a Candy Apple AL MM90 here in stock at Act 1 Music which I am seriously considering grabbing. If I do then I will transfer the 'buckers into that one and put my DD AL back to stock......probably....;)

My dream AL would consist of two hums and a full floating non-locking trem. I'd be in heaven.

Blues also has a 20th if memory serves me right and does an ad for amps or something holding the 20th.

BP, does Blues really like the 20th? Better than the AL?

Thanx, Glenn |B)
