Blues Saraceno & his custom EBMM Luke

I'm very surprised that they haven't signed him yet. They made him a Silver Sparkle Albert Lee and that is a sweet looking Luke, can't tell if it's a Black Sparkle or just black Luke.

Yeah I sat and asked him about it at NAMM, he wouldn't divulge too much.
It was pretty cool I gotta say. :D

It was black.

Blues is off the hook man. I've been down with the bro since day one....HairPick is nutty. I need to dig that cd out (I hope I still have it).

that pedal sounds really good of course the guitar and the guy playing it has a lot to do with it. but still i may have to get one of those.

what is saraceno up to these days? the last time I payed attention was in an interview he did where he swore off guitar albums because "he had taken it about as far as it could go." I had high hopes for his post hair-pick vocal project - even if I had some reservations - but was just crushed when I heard it. I'm actually angry I even bought it. I took it out after I read he was a MM endorser and gave it another try, but somethng about it still just doesn't work for me. anybody know if he has a new project in the works ?

thanks beej. I followed the link and all I can say is: arf. I realize this thread is regarding his MM guitars, but I have to follow through on this one because I'm quite dissappointed. His response to the question of any future guitar hero type albums is basically that he's too busy recording uncredited guitar tracks for the likes of the nick & jessica show, producing other people's work and being a sideman. and to say that it's not financially viable to keep producing albums for a limited audience (refering to guitar players)...? I'm sorry, but how did he get the illustrious job of recording goofy bumpers and transition bits for nick & jessica and the real world? it sure bloody wasn't by knocking out material like "transmission OK." I fully realize that it's not 1988 anymore, but hairpick was hands down that was one of the great guitar albums of note. Saraceno is a great player and could easily knock out a followup. I know that people have to make money, but to go out of his way to belittle his original audience from when he was "16 or 17" is bloody insulting. I can't help but feel he's implying that guitar-centric albums and their audience are sophomoric, and somehow it's very sad. just to be clear, I'm not saying he's a bad guy, or a bad player, but what's wrong with throwing a bone to your original audience? it would have to be a pretty hard-core fan to run out and buy a melissa ethridge album because blues had a solo on one of the songs, or eagerly sit in front of their VCR scanning through tapes of nick & jessica or the "new hit show, Hawaii" for a snippit of his playing. oh well... don't mind me. I'm just bitter there's not going to be another Hairpick...

I know it ain't the case, but I kinda feel EB has made 3 custom Lukes especially for me (insert forum members laugh here).

My Blue Dawn is no longer avaialable.
My Purple is no longer available.
And my vintage sunburst with piezo is probably harder to find than the first 2.
