Ahhhhhh. Nice axe though I think its quite ugly. Joe asked for what we knuckle heads have named the dark lord Morse which is a blackburst SM Y2D with a reversed headstock. The one you see there was another one off axe done for Joe. Ithas a powdery blue finish, reversed headstock, a clubby vintage profile neck and trapezoidal inlays.

There were acouple threads made about the guitars a while back when Joe started touring with BCC I'm sure a search will help you find it.

Hope that helps.

Damn, I've gotta check out some more BCC. Like the color, don't even mind the inlays, but I don't think I could ever get used to reverse EBMM headstock.

Reverse Headstock or no... BCC kicks serious ass! If you haven't got into them yet, you are missing out. Great hard rock band!!!

No doubt about Eric, good ole hard rock the way it is supposed to be played. I remember Derek saying they were making a follow up to the Dark Lord guitar for Joe, and this is the first I have seen of it. Nowhere as sharp looking as the DL, but it brings the thunder boy.

Actually I hated this when i first saw it - - but it's growing on me - I like the inlays - and I think it's a good colour combo.

just needed time to get into it.

Production model to come perhaps??

Doesn't do much for me. Looks like a Silo or Silo Special PG though. Also looks like a Morse Hardtail setup. The inlays remind me of the ones on a Les Paul.

I seem to remember from other threads that JB had the necked spec'd '50s Gibson fat (hence the inlays, maybe). I'd love to see such a neck profile available to the public.

I DREAM of a reverse headstock Axis. I may even buy a lefty one day and swap the necks out.

If they ever made a left handed Axis. Also, I don't know that you would want to go through getting a Super Sport (available left handed) and drilling the nut for a floyd only to realize that the back shape on the neck is upside down and uncomfortable compared to what we are used to on the Axis.

Basically we are buggered unless Sterling wants to offer a reverse headstock...
